you fuckers seriously annoy me with this
1. most of you ARE NOT THAT GOOD, accept the fact and stop blaming it on pop culture
2.most deviant artist dont even advertise them self well or have no actual industry rep to back them selves up with, your not going to get popular just because you have a DA
3.anime is to broad a term to sum up all the art styles that people kill them selves to learn and master
4.ya fan art and boobs get more views, kinda obviouse, sex sells, and people are more willing to look at something they can relate to/ care about, rather than just some random person or character
5.most of the elitist who act like they hate deviant art for this, arent even good enough to get fame off there own merit, im not going to deny anime art is pop culture, but last time i checked, most people who would use the internet often enough to go to sites like DA are teens and young adults who grew up with anime/western comics and love art for that reason, you cant dismiss what could be error on your part for lack of a crowd
6.even if you pump out fan art, shameless sex, and go for every low blow publicity stunt, THAT DOSE NOT ASSURE FAME, if your style is not unique, your anatomy flawed, your art just generaly lacking in anything special, you dont get popular, popular artist often have SKILL to back up that popularity, and if not that, atleast the common sense and minimal skill required to be able to get that fame
